Louie Foxx Magic and Comedy

Performing Daily at the Fair!

Louie Foxx is the consummate kid that never grew up and it’s evident as you watch him interact with audiences of all age. He is living his childhood dream of being a magician.

As a kid he realized that he excelled at all of the things that adults told him were a waste of time. Instead of playing baseball in high school, Louie built himself a rickety table and rode the bus into downtown to perform magic tricks on the street corner and got paid by “passing the hat”. He’s come a long way since then.

The Society of American Magicians voted Louie The Best Stage Magician and Best Close-Up Magician in Minnesota in 1996. He has also been featured twice in the prestigious Linking Ring magazine which is a magazine for the 13,000 members of the International Brotherhood of Magicians! Louie has also written several books about magic tricks for professional magicians, one of which has sold over 2,300 copies!

Louie is also a Two Time Guinness World Record Holder and has been on NBC’s America’s Got Talent, the nationally syndicated television show How ‘Bout That, Evening Magazine, New Day Northwest, Otra Movida TV in Spain, and in London’s Guardian Newspaper!
Louie is enjoying life as the rockstar dad. He now has a valid excuse to go to the zoo once a week and build forts out of the sofa cushions.

Eric Haines the One Man Band

Performing Daily at the Fair!

Guitar-slinging comedian Eric Haines brings pure entertainment to the world of comedy, with an act that is part rock concert, part comedy show and part twisted, bizarre circus. His comedy songs have been featured on the Dr. Demento Radio program, and he was the winner of the Northwest Comedy Competition. Whether it’s stand-up comedy, unforgettable characters, original music, a six foot unicycle routine or amazing variety acts, Eric Haines puts on a spectacular show that truly has something for everyone.

Eric Haines grew up in Montana, where he was considered aristocracy because he owned an air compressor. His career as a performer began when a neighbor paid him $10 to perform at a birthday party. It was like teaching an Afghan farmer to grow poppies. Thinking that the easy money from performing meant he could avoid a real job, he quickly developed his own comedy-based variety show for corporate events. When Haines began working full time as a professional comedian in 1995, he had already been working as a corporate entertainer for over ten years, a remarkable testament to how hard someone will work to avoid work. He has over twenty-five years total experience working as an all-around entertainer, both as a comedian and in the professional fields of theater, children’s theater, school assembly programs, fairs and festival entertainment, school workshops and corporate entertainment.

Decades

Performing Saturday during the Fair!

Since 2010, Decades (based in Chico, CA) has been working (and rocking) around the clock to learn material spanning from the 1940's (Glenn Miller's Orchestra's "In The Mood") to today (Bruno Mars & Mark Ronson's "Uptown Funk"). The band has played over 600 shows all along the West Coast, and are well on their way to booking another 125+ shows for 2017, earning its place as one of California's most in-demand bands. Throughout a single show, they'll swap between several instruments (including saxophone, harmonica, penny whistle, ocarina to name a few) and belt out four part harmonies, showcasing each members' musical versatility, while continuing to put on a highly energetic live show.

Decades' impressive catalog, mixed with its young talents (ages 27-30), has led to numerous achievements and highlights. Some notable performances include playing the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco in 2016, the Francis Ford Coppola Winery, Santa Cruz beach shows, the Hawaiian islands for 3 consecutive years, a 4th of July rooftop show at Harrah's Casino in Lake Tahoe and opening for both "Rain: A Tribute to the Beatles" and "The Drifters". Decades' debut album, Take Me Back, and their sophomore album, Way Up High, were recorded by Grammy-nominated producer, Sylvia Massy (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Prince, Johnny Cash, Tool) and have independently sold over 2,000 units. After playing for the Oakland Raiders on four separate occasions, Raider Hall-of-Famer Fred Biletnikoff said of the group, "Decades is a Hall-of-Fame Band".
